Watson Pawn Privacy Statement
In consideration of and to secure the amount identified as the Total of Payments, Pledgor hereby deposits with the issuer of this pawn ticket the Pledged Goods described on the reverse hereof. The pledgor represents and warrants that the pledged goods are not stolen, rented, or leased, and that they have no liens or encumbrances against them. Pledgor/seller also attests to have good title to the pledged property, and that Pledgor has the right to pledge the property. Pledgor attests that the pledgor is not in voluntary or involuntary bankruptcy of any type and is at least 18 years of age.
In this pawn transaction a pawnbroker may contract for and receive a pawn service charge (Finance Charge) for servicing the pawn which may include investigating the title, storing, appraisal, handling, making daily reports to local law enforcement officers, and for other expenses and costs associated with servicing the pawn, Such a charge when made and collected is not interest for any purpose of law.
This pawn is for 30 days. The pawn service charge is deemed earned, due and owing as of the date of the pawn transaction and a like sum shall be deemed earned due and owing on the first day of each succeeding 30 day period. The pledgor is not obligated to redeem the pledged goods.
Any property pledged to a Pawnbroker within this state which is not redeemed on or before the maturity date, or pawn extended by payment of all charges due, is automatically forfeited to the Pawnbroker, and absolute right, title, and interest in and to the property vests in and is deemed conveyed to the Pawnbroker by operation of law, and no further notice is necessary, Customer agrees that issuers hereof may, at issuer's option, extend this agreement one or more times.
NO MERCHANDISE SENT C.O.D. Redemption by mail requires copy of this contract with payment in full by money order, certified or cashier's check, to include charges for packing, shipping, and insurance.
If the this pawn ticket form is stolen, the pledgor must immediately advise the issuing pawnbroker in writing by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested, or in person.
The issuer shall not be responsible for loss or damage to said pledged property in case of fire, theft, robbery, rust, moth, or other unavoidable casualty.
Arbitration: Any controversy or claim arising out of or related to this agreement or the breach thereof shall be settled by arbitration in Little Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, Judgement upon the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Arkansas.
No oral representation shall in any way change or modify these written conditions, and such oral representations shall in no way be binding upon the issuer of this pawn ticket, The issuer of this agreement shall be limited to the aforesaid pledged property in its rights to recover, except for fraud.
